How I earned my philosophy degree online

It was about 2 years ago when I decided it was time to go back to school and earn a Philosophy degree online. I wanted to not have to get loans by going the usual route so I started hunting around the web for alternatives. The multitude of institutions offering a Philosophy degree online proved to be astronomical and I had to work tirelessly to pare down the good schools.

I began by entering 'Philosophy degree online' into the search field in my browser window and I was affronted with hits to every university offering a Philosophy degree online of every level. I funneled the query a bit using a hint of plus and minus boolean logic and once I had a good offering the best places to consider, I felt ready to start tunneling through the course listings and offerings.

Many of the best universities offer a Philosophy degree online, and of the degrees they provide access to, a Philosophy degree is practically the easiest one for them to provide. Primarily this is to the credit of the bookworm nature of liberal arts degrees. It certainly requires plenty of diligent effort from the students, despite the ease teaching online is for the teachers now that screencasting is so easy, but it is about the same as if you were to have gone the traditional route, with of course the excellent benefit of being able to learn anywhere you like, in bed included!

If there were any disadvantages to getting a Philosophy degree online, I would certainly list them here as my pragmatic nature would force me to, but there really are none! Acquiring a Philosophy degree online is probably the most important decision I have ever made, it has furthered my career more than I could have dreamed and soon I should be teaching philosophy myself!
